More and more patients are choosing various healing modalities - either along with allopathy or as a single measure - to fight ailments and diseases. The wellness panel at PBD will discuss pros and cons of integrated therapies, as scientific studies reveal the effects of alternative medicine in reducing pain and treating psychological symptoms in patients across the world. But with so many healing therapies around, how do you know which one will work for you?



Rujuta Diwekar is India's leading nutritionist, and the author of five best-selling books. In her talks, she urges everyone to use common sense to un-complicate the act of eating. She emphasizes on a blend of traditional food wisdom and modern nutritional science for a healthy body and mind, best reflected through the mantra – Eat local, think global. Her clientele includes businessmen and celebrities, such as Kareena Kapoor, Anil Ambani, Alia Bhat and Shahid Kapoor.

During a fireside chat, the Editor of Yoga Journal in Singapore, Kavita Chandran, will speak with Rujuta Diwekar about her nutrition beliefs and the influence and importance of yoga in her life.



The grand finale at the Health & Wellness zone will be a yoga dance performed by the teachers of Real Yoga, a Singapore-based yoga center that has studios also in India and Indonesia.
